Kalabhairava is an incarnation of Lord Shiva.
He is also the presiding deity of the planet Rahu.
Hence for Rahu related troubles reciting
the kalabhairava ashtakam [
Adhi Sankara Bhagawt Pada] is a very good remedy.

There is a Kalbhairav temple at Ujjain also which is quite at a distance from the Jyotirlinga (Mahaakaal). The Kalbhairav drinks country liquor. Any insight?

Kalabhairvarashtami is celebrated every year at the Kalabhairvar temple situated at the narasimhavanam.
Sringeri. On that day Sri Sri Bharathi Theertha Swamigal will perform Abishekam and poojas at that temple

as told by Mr.paliakara.. i had visited the temple in ujjain.. where all type of liquor not only country is sold as offerings to the kalabhairava.. and i could see the pandits were also drunken and liquor is served as the prasadham also... which i refused to take..
there is also a rumour that when the liquor is poured on the deity, it gets collected inside and the same is recycled again for selling..
only kalabhairava knows !!!!!!!
kalabhairava is a saviour in all times.
If any thing gets lost or misplaced...you tell this sloka 3 times ..
kaasi kaalabhairava keerthi veeryaarjunaya namaha..
